After working for many years as an attorney and community volunteer to advance equal rights – and especially in my role over the past three years as trustee and now president of the AISD school board – I feel I have the right experience and the right values to fight for what's right in Texas House.
That will mean working for meaningful reform on education, transportation and the environment, and standing up forcefully to ultra-conservatives in the Legislature as they continue their assault on the rights of women and families.
